Last Night

"Somewhere between our big laughs, silent conversations and pointless jokes... I fell in love, maybe."

Last Night - 21st March, was easily one of the best night that I had in a long, long, long time.

It was like Alice, falling into the Rabbit Hole.

Falling, not Crashing.

And no, it didn't felt like an, "Oh Crap." moment. It was something more surreal than that.

It felt... Kind of right. Kind of comfortable.

As quoted - "You think you wanna die, but in reality, you just want to be saved."

It's true isn't it?

As in, sometimes, we are so much in pain, we somehow indulge in it, or maybe even find pleasure in it.

We continue to sink deeper & deeper, we feel like we might never get out of this dark void.

Until one day, someone, at the most unexpected moment, reach for your hand, and pull you out.

And then yell, "Hey you, Surprise."

That comforting voice,
That sincere look in the eyes,
That warm grip,
It just falls so well all together.

It's like in the movies. Magical. Someone waves their wand, and you are suddenly awoken, and everything starts to make sense.

"Look at you, you have been a mess lately. Beautiful and fragile at the same time. I am not going to ask you what exactly happened. But instead, I will ask you to eat more, gain a couple of kilos, sleep more and cry less. To some people, you might be just a bad person, but to a lot of other people, you are their best friend, soul mate, and someone important to them. They don't care about your past, they accept you for who you are, not who they want you to be. They want to talk to you, listen to your voice, hangout with you and see you smile."

And this, these words, has been repeating and repeating, over and over in my head.

I may have been ruined, but not completely destroy.

There might just be some good left in me.

Love,
M
